Acentic, international provider of High Speed Internet Access (HSIA) and wireless technology to the hospitality industry, has passed Marriott International’s rigorous Global Property Network Standards (GPNS) European certification. Highly regarded throughout the hospitality industry, Marriott GPNS is designed to achieve an optimal guest experience through consistent and high-quality internet services.
This follows a comprehensive testing programme completed with the successful installation of Radiant 4 (Acentic’s leading edge HSIA platform) into Marriott’s London flagship property – the 245 bedroom St. Pancras Renaissance London Hotel.
The successful accreditation proves to Marriott that Acentic’s Radiant 4 HSIA solution delivers an outstanding user experience for guests, and provides industry leading management and control functionality for the brand and property.
“The Marriott GPNS program is highly regarded in hospitality HSIA accreditation, demanding that vendors pass the most rigorous and stringent testing program in the industry,” said Mark Teasdale, Acentic’s Chief Technology Officer.
Richard Robinson, Acentic’s Chief Executive also commented; “Following the acquisition of RIEO Communications, Acentic has invested heavily in developing its Radiant 4 HSIA platform. Securing Marriott’s European GPNS accreditation demonstrates and further reinforces Acentic’s position as a world class provider and integrator of HSIA technology to the global hospitality market. I am immensely proud of the commitment from across the business to gain the confidence of Marriott, and become a certified GPNS vendor.”
