Mumbai: Ever year, the Indian audiences await change in the face of Indian cinema, who is going to raise the bar or who is going to do something new, or which new actor or actress is going to debut like actress Mahima Hora.
Hailing from New Delhi, Mahima Hora possessing dreams in her eyes to pursue acting, little did she know her talent would give her the big ticket to the tinsel town? After marking her excellence in stage & theatre plays she makes her big Bollywood debut with the film “COLD”.
Essaying the role of the protagonist, Mahima Hora says “I am playing the lead in the film. The script of the film COLD is outstanding and my character is very well written. I am excited and equally nervous because COLD since it marks my debut in the industry; I am just giving my hundred percent and keeping my fingers crossed. Hopefully, I am going to stay in the film industry for a very long time,”
Holding a penchant for acting, Mahima Hora started her journey at a tender age with a vision to entertain people with her acting abilities. She studied acting from Roshan Taneja School of Acting and received accolades for her zeal and passion towards the craft of acting.
Talking about her journey Mahima say “I belong to a simple family back ground where we don’t have any association with Bollywood, but it was my passion for this art which made me pursue acting. I never had a God father who would guide me with the nuances of the industry. I did stage and theatre plays to understand the craft. So, films are something that I am going to continue to do”
Insisting that her foray into the world of performing arts was not a flash-in-the-pan decision, the medical student- turned-artiste says that it’s her passion & love for the craft of acting which is the prime factor that attracts her to be a part of Bollywood “I was a non-medical student in school but later on completed my graduation in Political science hons. I took it as a challenge and topped in my first year and since then my journey for Bollywood started. There was sudden wave of confidence in me; hence I decided to pursue acting as my profession. And here I am to carve a footing for myself and to try my luck with my family support”.
