National, December, 2016: Serendipity Arts Festival – India’s premier, curated, interdisciplinary arts festival that aims to conventionalize arts in the country, has found support in some of the best-known business houses in the country. Indian leaders such as Kiran Mazumdar Shaw, Shreyasi Goenka, Shrinivas Dempo, Shobana Kamineni, Sangita Jindal, Mallika Srinivasan and Ashish Hemrajani have come on board as patrons of the Festival, and are invested driving a mindset towards culture and reiterate the value of the arts in India. Catapulting Indian art forms onto the world stage, the business leaders will help draw global and local attention through their close involvement.
These Festival patrons believe that arts and culture play a pivotal role in strengthening the social fabric of our society and will extend their support to the first edition of SAF not just financially but through their vast knowledge and varied experiences.

Serendipity Arts Festival will be the first of its kind, multi-disciplinary arts event that will celebrate the diversity in art with a special focus on music, dance, theatre, crafts, visual arts, and culinary arts. This festival will be the first edition in a long-term cultural project that hopes to affect positive change in the arts in India on a large scale. The selection of curators, the festival structure, and the programming itself all represent a sincere effort to address the creative needs, aspirations and potential of contemporary India. The incredibly diverse culture and rich history of Goa will provide the perfect backdrop for the grandest art affair of the year. Audiences will get a chance to engage with the arts in beautiful, carefully designed and often, unconventional, settings. The event is expected to attract artists, performers, writers, journalists, academics, collectors, enthusiasts and others engaged with the arts community, both within and outside the country to the sunny state of Goa for the cause of art.
