If 2020 has blessed anyone, it would be Amit Sadh! The actor’s work in Breathe: Into the Shadows has been widely critiqued as one of the best performances this year. Talking about his journey and life he is seen in a candid conversation with Filmfare Digital Editor, Rahul Gangwani in the latest episode of Filmfare Spotlight.
When asked about his co-star in the show Abhishek Bachchan, Amit Sadh says, “I am trained as an actor to love and respect all my co-actors, because I am nothing without them. Having said that- some co-actors make it easier to love them. That compliment goes for Abhishek. It is easy to love him and work with him. Although, he is my senior it was really great to work with him. Though our characters had complexities we couldn’t have so much fun on the sets but he is a great guy!’’
The actor also reminisces about Sushant Singh Rajput and how a recent incident, brought all those memories of him. Sharing that fateful incident he says “My recent flight from Kullu to Mumbai, the sequence number on my ticket was ‘SSR’. I just couldn’t get and I realized that only I had to get this.” He also chimes in the chaos that followed Sushant’s death stating, “I think the industry has changed post Coronavirus and is also affected by his death. I hope we are affected by it. Because if we are not affected by it, we are not human beings and if we aren’t humans then we shouldn’t be telling stories about humans”
