Pune: Seventh edition of Couture Exhibition was inaugurated today by Amruta Fadanvis who herself is a fashion enthusiast. The exhibition was organised at Conrad- Pune on 8th and 9th August. The exhibition which brought together designers from all over the country on one platform was organised by city-based fashion enthusiasts Smita Patwardhan and Naina Mutha. Rashmi Shukla, Pune Commissioner of Police also explored the exhibition.
Co-ordinated by Sonya Rau of Concept 9, the event had more than 90 shops that display jewellery, handicraft, clothing, shoes, accessories and homeware, Couture makes a point to provide a platform to showcase upcoming talent in the country. “Observing the hard work undertaken by fashion designer for the collection, it is a great platform for women for showing their art and collection. This initiative is a stepping stone towards women empowerment”, said Amruta Fadanvis.
