Q: What are the mobility driven IT
solutions that CDK global offers?
Parvez: CDK global is a 40-year-old technology company that makes software for Automobile OEMs and likewise. We have 120 products. With the changing and evolving global market demands, we have moved into connected cars which is the latest mobility, the AIML solution and we have also moved into the blockchain solutions associated with the automobile segment. Our technology solutions are designed to make cars safer to be with and offer rich customer experience.
Today’s consumer is an evolved folk looking for all kinds of information on hand. From finding a parking lot, getting gas station, getting reminders on their service to getting information about the hazards and accidents and likewise, one can get updated with all the information. And, taking it to the next level where with AIML solutions, we can also pass all of this data to the closest proximity police station, fire station and so on.
Q: Do you offer AIML solutions for Indian mobility needs?
Parvez: No, not now! Our AIML solutions are designed for markets outside India like North America, but soon we are planning to explore the Indian market for AIML solutions.
Q: Are your products compatible with the
needs of the Indian market?
Parvez: Although we don’t have operations in the Indian market yet, we are working on it. We are adapting our products to the Indian market and we see great potential for our products to be applicable here. I see that we have to focus more on product adaption than anything else.

Parvez: CDK employs 1400 people in India and

Parvez: Pretty much anything and everything on
the technology platform. Being a larger organization, we cater to not only
technology folks but we have folks on the back end financial services, taking
care of data and analytics. On the technology stack, we are quite adverse and
spread out; There are non-technology skills that we seek out too, like customer
skills, production support and likewise.
