Pune, 28 November, 2016 : Secure Giving under the
Art for Concern Initiative has organized its Annual show of
Art at the Monalisa kalagrama, Koregaon Park in aid of
Concern India Foundation. This initiative has been strongly supported by a Exim Bank. The artwork of skilled craftsmen depicting traditional and folk
art of India will be presented in this exhibition. The exhibition will be inaugurated on
December 2, 2016 at 5 pm. There will be Talk by Dr. Shrikant Pradhan on traditional and folk
art at 6.30 . On
3rd and 4th December 2016 exhibition will be open from
11 am to 6 PM.The exhibition and talk show is free and open
for all and will consist of 40 sculptures and paintings.
The exhibition will host various art forms of India such as Chola, Gond, Thanjavur, Patta chitra, Miniature Paintings, Madhubani, Picavai, Phad, Kalamkari, Mata Ni Pacedi, Kerala mural paintings,Reverse Glass Tanjore Paintings. This will be a great opportunity for Art collectors. Art for Concern India was initiated by Concern India Foundation. This Organization is established for protection and conservation of the Indian arts and crafts and to give emerging artists a platform for the promotion of their Art. It promises fair Value to artists. Art for Concern shows are held across India to showcase established and emerging talent.
