The stars shared their pre-release excitement with their fans on the platform
NEW DELHI: Setting the tone for their upcoming film ‘Panipat’, Arjun Kapoor and Kriti Sanon share interesting behind-the-scenes stories on Helo’s FridayFever. In the latest episode of the flagship online show, the lead star-cast answered curious and fun questions pertaining to the film and their personal lives, exclusively on Helo. Not only did the duo give a quick sneak peek into their characters, but also opened up about some similarities between their real self and their much awaited avatars as Sadashivrao Bhao and Parvati Bai.
Panipat is an Indian historical war film, based on the Third battle of Panipat, starring Arjun Kapoor, Kriti Sanon and Sanjay Dutt. The movie is set to hit the theatres on the 6th of December 2019. Arjun and Kriti also talked about the immense research that went behind the making of the film and called the director, Ashutosh Gowariker a ‘History Book’ in good humour. In one of the rounds, Arjun revealed that Sadashivrao is a relatable character as he ‘Listens to all, learns from few and follows no one’. Likewise, drawing parallels between herself and Parvati Bai, who is protective of her husband, Kriti revealed she’s super protective about her younger sister and is a ‘Chhoti mummy’ to her. The lead pair also answered some fun questions, and when quizzed – ‘who needed maximum retakes’, the duo instantly agreed and laughed off that the horse took maximum retakes.
On being asked about their film preferences in general, Kriti spoke about her love for romantic films and shared that it would be her dream project to work on such a film, whereas, Arjun confessed he is not a fan of horror films, barring the likes of Stree.
