British carmaker Aston Martin will auction one of the ten DB10 models that were specifically made for the James Bond film, Spectre. Since only ten cars were ever made, it will be a very exclusive vehicle to own.
Again, with good news comes bad news-the car is not street legal, which means that the one lucky buyer who gets to own the Aston Martin DB10 will have to keep the car locked away, or make occasional race track visits to experience the car.
The DB10 is based on the Aston Martin V8 Vantage and shares the same naturally aspirated 4.8-litre, V8 engine. The exterior and interior of the DB10 however, is completely different from the Vantage. This design may inspire future Aston Martin models.
Aston Martin also has plans to introduce the DB9’s successor, which will be called the DB11. The upcoming Aston Martin will most likely be powered by a turbocharged, 6.0-litre V12 engine, that will be fuel efficient and produce lot more horsepower as well.
