Electric vehicles are the vehicles that can be powered through a collector system by electricity from off-vehicle, it uses one or more electric motors or traction motors for propulsion. These vehicles have battery or self- contained with solar panels or the generator which converts the fuel of electricity.
In Expo 2020, global brands motor companies like Tata Motors, Kia Motors, Mahindra and Renault showcased their electrical vehicles. Every vehicle from the new launch to the first time showcased is displayed in the expo. Top models of vehicles are listed which are presented in Expo 2020.
5 ELECTRIC VEHICLES:
TATA ALTROZ EV
This Tata Altroz EV made its India debut at the auto expo 2020. After Tigor EV and Nexon EV, This vehicle become the third electric car from the Tata motor company and will be the first electric premium hatchback in India. Company’s Ziptron electric powertrain technology will be installed in Tata Altroz EV and this will be covered to be launched later this year. To increase the electric range on a single charge, by using new technology, the electric range is 250km.
Altro EV and the Altroz hatchback, visually share its
design and styling. The car comes with the distinguishing blue accents and a
lighter shade for the interior. The electron vehicle technology feature of the
car is shared with the Nexon EV, 8- year
warranty for the battery pack is expected and it has IP67 certification.
Renault company also launched its debut of Renault city K-ZE, this is the electric version
of Kwid, which is the company’s most popular car in India. K-ZE concept is the
base for the electric hatchback. For the French automaker, this is the smallest
electric vehicle so far.
CMF-A platform is the base for the Kwid and Renault
city K-ZE. The car motor is capable of 33kW and delivering 120Nm of peak
torque. By using standard 220V domestic and plug charging points the can be
charged. 240km will be the total range to be on the electric hatchback.
Launch of Ekuv100 is a big electrical vehicle in India. Of an electric hatchback. The company made this new launch, the most affordable electric vehicle in India. Petrol derivative and Mahindra eKUV100 are identical in some features. There are some new elements of styling that significant electric nature.
The SAIC group in china sold this model which is a fully electric SUV. There are two electric motors, input for the motor is by a battery which has 52.5 kWh, and the combined output is about 184 bhp which is input for car and the range is of over 400 km on a single charge.
In South Korea and global markets have the sales of this vehicle. The battery is 64 kWh and offers an electric range of 450 km. The display of the car comes with heated and ventilated seats, dual-zone climate control and start-stop switch.
