Pune: Mother’s Day may only come once a year, but it’s arguably one of the most important days because you say Thank You to that special woman because she is the one who keeps alive the Reality Entertainment and Drama quotient in our lives. AXN salutes all the Mothers and celebrates this day in the most riveting style with back to back presentation of popular American series ‘Extant’, a futuristic thriller about a female astronaut named Molly (Halle Berry) trying to reconnect with her family when she returns after a year in outer space. The Season 2 starring will be aired on May 7th and 8th from 12 noon to 6 pm.
The American science fiction television drama series is created by Mickey Fisher and produced by legendary Hollywood film maker Steven Spielberg and shows the protagonist Molly discovering that she has mysteriously become pregnant despite years of infertility and then begins her search for answers. In Season 2 Molly is confined to a psychiatric hospital when she learns of bizarre deaths that sound eerily similar to those she witnessed in space. When she escapes to investigate, she crosses paths with JD Richter, a determined cop who just signed on to the case.
In attempt to make Mother’s Day more special, AXN will also premiere season 5 of popular American television series Teen Wolf developed by Jeff Davis on AXN 7th May, 2016 every weekend at 11 pm to 12 pm.
Catch the extra-terrestrial sic-fi series ‘Extant’ only on AXN, 7th to 8th April from 12 noon to 6 pm
