Pune: Bajaj Auto, known for its sports bike legacy under the Pulsar brand brings a unique concept of speed biking called the Festival of Speed in Pune. Touted as India’s first speed biking festival, the festival was hosted at Downtown Racing, Tulaja Bhawani Nagar, Kharadi, Pune. The event started at 2pm gave Pulsar customers a chance to indulge in professional track racing for an ultimate biking experience.
Apart from races, the festival offered a fun filled day with Skateboarding, Bicycle Motocross, Stunt shows, DJ performances, live concert and much more. While the races were open for all 200cc and above Pulsar customers, 6 Pulsar RS200 customerschosen for the final face off to be held at MMRT, Chennai. The festival will also travel to Hyderabad (hosted on 5th March), Bangalore, Pune, Mumbai and Chennai with 36 finalists (6 from each city) to compete for the grand finaleafter undergoing a full day of professional training from the experts on the Madras Motor Race Track, Chennai on 16th April. The entire cost of their travel, stay, and training will be sponsored by the company and will come absolutely free. The winner of the grand finale will be awarded with the first Pulsar Cup of the country along with prize money of Rs 1 Lakh.
