The Agenda of the Regional Labour Ministers Meeting is very timely and relevant in the Contemporary economic scenario. He was speaking at the Regional Labour Ministers Conference for East region at Ranchi today. He recalled that the Chief Minister and many of the Ministers including himself hail from or associated with Labour background. Further, he reiterated that Ministry of Labour and Employment is mandated to safeguard the interest of working class while promoting a conducive working environment for inclusive growth and industrial harmony.
