Patna, 04 November, 2016: ‘Bihar State Power Holding Company’, on the occasion of its Foundation Week, recognized Bajaj Electricals Limited which is India’s leading electrical company. Bajaj Electricals was felicitated by Bihar State Power (Holding) Company for excellent performance & dedication towards Rural Electrification Project in Kishanganj District covering 661 villages which include 147 Un-electrified villages where electricity has reached for the first time. Bajaj Electricals limited is currently working on 16 projects of Bihar in power distribution sector for which total project cost is 2300 Cr.
Honorable Chief Minister of Bihar, Mr. Nitish Kumar presented the prestigious award to Mr. Vijay Bhat (Vice President & Business Unit Head – Power Distribution) Bajaj Electricals Limited. Mr. Tejaswi Prasad Yadav (Deputy Chief minister of Bihar), Mr. Vijendra Prasad Yadav (Energy Minister of Bihar). Mr. Pratyaya Amrit (CMD – BSPHCL) and Mr. R. Laxmanan (MD –SBPDCL) were also present during the event.

Bajaj Electricals is the first company in India to have designed, type tested & supplied monopoles of 400 KV Double Circuit line with a height of 42 m, it’s called Monopole Based Transmission Line.
