New Delhi, 2nd Jan 2019: BJP Leader & Ex-South Delhi MLA Vijay Jolly today celebrated New Year in a unique manner. Jolly spent invaluable time on the first day of New Year-2019 among poor, helpless, old, infirm & needy people of Sangam Vihar in South Delhi.
Sangam Vihar the largest unauthorized poor citizens colony in South Delhi was abuzz today morning, since BJP leader Vijay Jolly distributed 5kg flour, 1kg rice, 1kg lentils, 1kg salt & 1kg mustard cooking oil to many ‘poor, infirm & senior citizens’ and wished them Happy New Year -2019 with a Smile.
The program was organized by NGO – Rise India Foundation in I-block Sangam Vihar, South Delhi. Sardar Rajiv Singh Sugandh presided while the program was compared by Ghanshyam Pandey & Dilawar Singh. Sangam Vihar Brahmin Mahasabha President Maniram Pandey also addressed the large gathering.
Ex-MLA Vijay Jolly while addressing the senior citizens lauded the hard working Sangam Vihar citizens for their zeal & enthusiasm. Jolly criticized Delhi Govt. for meting step motherly treatment to Sangam Vihar for its infrastructure development.
Jolly stated that celebrating New Year among the poor & senior citizens of Sangam Vihar is to draw the attention of Delhi & Central Govt. towards the pathetic state of civic amenities prevailing in Sangam Vihar due to lack of drinking water, no pucca roads & no provision for underground water sewerage. Today Sangam Vihar area is dangerously polluted while Delhi govt. is paying no heed to its problems alleged BJP Leader Mr. Vijay Jolly.
