Bombay Industries Association (BIA) successfully organised and executed its annual speed networking event at the Hyatt Regency Mumbai on Tuesday the 22nd of August. It was attended by over 300companies who were participants with a view to further expand their business and explore new opportunities.
This event held annually for the the last 3 years provides a unique platform for the members to interact with one another enabling them to showcase their products and services.
Mr.Jeenanath Shetty, president of the BIA which has over 1100 members from the MSME space said “Since BIA is an association from various industry sectors of manufacturing & services today’s event is a great opportunity for our members to meet and learn about other members.
The event attended attended by.MS.SUWIMOL TILOKRUANGCHAI Executive Director of ThaiTrade Council amongst others who were addressed by Mr.Rohit Arora who stressed on the need to build a sustainable organization and the ways and means to the same.
Companies from Mumbai showcasing there products and doing Intra Trade Business was the key takeaway of the evening for the participants according to Mr. Ajit Singh Ahluwallia, the Chairman of organising committee and Vice President of Bombay Industries Association. Mr Ahluwalia said that the Vision of BIA is to make this event an international event by inviting delegations from various countries next year and making the event with more then 500 participants.
The way Bombay industries association conducted the event was comparable to International standards where Indian Companies got a very good exposure to see the different Products that are manufactured in India and are truly promoting Prime Minister Modi’s vision of Make In India and to Transform India in which BIA is playing its part.
