India’s leading cloud security platform announces offering to help streamline security operations
INDIA: C3M, the Cloud Security solutions provider offering C3M Cloud Control, a 100% API based Cloud Security and Compliance Management Solution that offers enterprises complete cloud control through automated cloud security intelligence, announced the launch of their newest feature, C3M Playbooks. Playbooks bring Security Orchestration Automation and Response (SOAR) capabilities to the C3M Cloud Control Platform and can help streamline the security operations via a flexible, customizable, and extensible framework that can support multiple remediations or actions for cloud entities. The Playbooks capability will be available for AWS, GCP, and Azure.
“The launch of C3M Playbooks is a major milestone for all of us at C3M. Our customers can now automate and orchestrate responses to security events across multi-cloud without the need for manual intervention. While cloud adoption is at an all-time high, security and compliance in the cloud remain a concern. One of the greatest challenges enterprises face is the lack of resources with training on cloud security. The C3M Playbook’s automation capability addresses this to a large extent saving enterprises man-hours and faster detection and remediation capabilities. This is particularly useful for enterprises in India facing a dearth of cloud trained resources.”, said Paddy Viswanathan, Founder, and CEO, C3M.
The Playbooks framework contains 5 distinct steps and can be easily implemented to manage and monitor data security postures across AWS, GCP, and Azure infrastructures. System administrators can customize the playbook according to their requirements as well. Enforcing a playbook is a simple 5 step process and helps security operations teams to easily pre-configure response to cloud security events in real-time across AWS, GCP, and Azure Infrastructures. Customers can also choose to customize the playbooks according to their security maturity and security requirements. Custom actions can be written using a serverless framework.
