Pune: A two-day festival providing information and guidance to the students and youths regarding career and future prospects after class 10 and 12th,, graduation and post-graduation and will be held at Balgandharva Auditorium on May 30 and 31. The festival will be inaugurated in the presence of Dattatrayji Dhankawade, Mayor of Pune; Prof. Ram Shinde, Minister of State for Home; Vandana Chavan; MP, Mahesh Zagade (IAS), Chief Executive Office of PMRDA; Purushottam Bhapkar (IAS), Education Commissioner, Maharashtra; Uttamrao Karape, President of Ahmednagar Zilla Mitra Mandal while Ramchandra Jadhav, Deputy Director of Education, Pune Division; Dr. Sanjay Chordia of Suryadatta Group; Krishnakant Kudale, chairman of Pune Education Academy; Baba Dhumal, chairman of Education Board, Pune; Dr. Arvind Natu; Dr. Arvind Shaligram; Dr. Atul Padalkar and Pradeep Tupe and other noted educationists will guide the students and parents. The event is organized by Pune Sanskriti Vaibhav Trust and this is the 16th year of the Career Mahotsav. The entry to the Career Mahotsav will be free for the students and parents. A special issue – Dirghayu Career Mahotsav – will be released at this occasion, informed Ravi Chaudhari, the chairman of the organizing trust of the festival.
The Career Mahotsav will be held at Balgandharva Auditorium on Saturday, May 30 from 9 AM to 9 PM and Sunday May 31 from 9 AM to 9 PM in which lecturers from the various well known organizations and colleges will guide the students and parents about education and career opportunities through lectures and counseling. The lecturers and noted experts will be from institutions like Sinhgad College, D. Y. Patil College, Raisoni Institute, Suryadatta, Siddhant, Ambrosia and MIT College etc. The information of all reputed educational institutes will be available here under one roof.
Beside these important speeches, the Career Mahotsav will have events like educational guidance, Cafe War and short film competitions, felicitations of achievers from the young generation and awards and open interviews, Food Expo. Students will be helped to get registrations for Adhar card domicile certificate, nationality certificate, income certificate, caste certificate etc. required for the admission. Also it will have facilities like registration for employment.
The achievers from the young generation will be felicitated with Generation Next Business Award and their open interviews will also be held. Kirti Lalit Jain, managing director of ‘Kul’ and director of Kumar Builders; Saurabh Gadgil of PNG Group; Vishal Rajkumar Chordia, director of Suhana Spices will be honored in the Career Mahotsav.
The Cafe War which will be held in the Career Mahotsav will be held in Pune for the first time and 60 out of 200 cafes in Pune are selected for the competition. Chefs from each of these cafes will be giving demonstrations of sandwiches, hamburger, hot dog, pizza, potato chips and corn etc. Information and taste of the recipes will alos be available here. Beside these, the food festival will have many stalls. The Purandare Hospitality Services Pvt. Ltd. has provided guidance for this.
A short film competition was held in the Career Mahotsav for the students and the short films of 1 or 2 minutes on the theme ‘I Love Pune’ are to be presented in this competition. Shri. Rajesh Khele of animationwala.com will coordinate this event.
The educational exhibition here will include stalls of various education institutions in which information on many educational courses will be given. Here, the needy ones will get help for issuance of Adhar Card and filling up of applications for employment will also be available. Gayatri Chaudhari, Prof. Bhuvanesh Kulkarni, Prof. Pratap Bamane, Siddhesh Purandare and Dashrath Kuldharan have coordinated this event.
Mi Marathi TV channel, Next Generation cable, FM 91.1 Radio City and Ahmednagar Zilla Mitra Mandal have extended cooperation for this.
