India – 16 January 2017: The Westin Pune Koregaon Park, known for its astonishing culinary offerings in the city, is delighted to announce the appointment of Chef Rahul Kaushik as the Executive Chef of the hotel. Chef Rahul comes with a diversified and enriching culinary expertise with almost 2 decades of experience in culinary arts, coupled with hands-on operational training.
Born in Mumbai, raised in Punjab and Haryana and having worked in Dubai and Oman, Rahul is a hotel management graduate and his last tenure was with The St. Regis Mumbai as the Executive Chef. His other stints include Radisson Sas Hotel – Sultanate of Oman, ITC Grand Maratha Sheraton Hotel Mumbai, Intercontinental Hotel Mumbai, Grand Hyatt Hotel Mumbai and Palladium Hotel (earlier Shangri-la), Mumbai.
Chef Rahul’s major achievements include being part of the culinary team along with Australian Master Chef Adam for the longest lunch table in India and also booked in Limca Book of records with 530 Connoisseurs, at Grand Hyatt Hotel, Mumbai. Chef Rahul has also represented for Six Sigma from culinary at ITC Grand Maratha Sheraton Hotel, Mumbai and set up a Training Academy for culinary team at Grand Hyatt Hotel, Mumbai. He has also been selected for cross exposure from culinary in Dubai in Hyatt – Regency, Grand Hyatt and Park Hyatt.
