PUNE: Imperial Supply Chain Solutions Pvt. Ltd (ISCS), a Pune-based warehousing and supply chain management solutions company has partnered with a 75-year-old established Mithai and Namkeen manufacturing company Chitale Bandhu Mithaiwale to handle Chitale Bandhu’s entire warehousing and supply chain operations in Mumbai and Pune locations.

In this partnership, Imperial is not only managing the warehousing of finished goods but also takes care of the inventory management of packaging and other indirect materials from its warehouses in Pune and Mumbai.

Chitale Bandhu Mithaiwale (CBM) is a very progressive group, which is constantly evolving the packaging material of its products to increase their shelf life and durability. CBM recently started selling Bakarwadi their most iconic namkeen product in specially curated reusable containers. The bare shell containers are imported from multiple sources across the globe which are later decorated and branded in Pune. CBM has outsourced the machining activity required for sleeving of the containers and lid label application to Imperial.

Imperial being a supply chain management company not only supports its clients in warehousing and inventory management activities but also gives end-to-end solutions to its customers by providing multiple value-added services like machining, procurement, sourcing, labeling, kitting, packaging, and last mile deliveries.

It is a privilege for a new-age company like Imperial Supply Chain Solutions to get associated with a household name brand like Chitale Bandhu Mithaiwale. Imperial and CBM have been working together since 2017. Indraneel Chitale one of the managing partners of Chitale Bandhu Mithaiwale always believed in outsourcing non-value adding and ancillary services to more competitive companies to make the manufacturing processes faster and more efficient. We sincerely thank him for giving us an opportunity to offer our services. Imperial always had a customer-centric approach where we help clients improve and control the “3V” of supply chain operations – velocity, visibility, and variability that have a direct impact on customer satisfaction and cost,” said Aditya Kale, MD, and CEO, Imperial Supply Chain Solutions.

In these competitive markets, as a food manufacturer, I would like to focus more on the quality of products and developing newer markets. As a strategic decision, we decided to outsource the entire warehouse management activities to Imperial and have been satisfied with their services. Aditya is very passionate about his business and makes sure his team delivers to optimum level bringing in a lot of innovation and strategy,” said Indraneel Chitale, Managing Partner, Chitale Bandhu Mithaiwale.
