New Delhi: Poor & needy citizens of Sangam Vihar colony were distributed free clothes on the eve of Former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee ji’s birthday by Senior Delhi BJP Leader Vijay Jolly today.
Poor residents of Gandhi Camp jhuggi – jhopari basti from M.B. Road Sangam Vihar were beneficiaries, at the camp organized for “free distribution of clothes to needy” in South Delhi.
Used but good quality shirts, trousers, sarees, blouses, sweaters, half pants, jackets, coats, bed sheets, ladies skirts etc. were collected from households by Adhikar Society (NGO) led by Brijpal Upadhyay – President & team Gen. Sec. Ram Saran Rajput, Gokulesh Bhardwaj & Deepak Sharma (VP), Savita Yadav, Kavita Rawat, Surender Yadav, Udham Singh, Devender Bansal, Badshah Khan, Asif, Bharat Kumar, Pradeep Mehalwal in Sangam Vihar & adjoining colonies for the past two months.
Senior BJP Leader & Ex-Saket MLA Vijay Jolly is the Patron of Adhikar Society while Sangam Vihar MCD Councilor Smt. Maya Bisht & Ex-Councilor Mool Chand Sharma specially attended the free clothes to the poor camp program today in Sangam Vihar.
Shri. Jolly also attended a grand “Mehfil-e-Mushaira” organized by KSK Academy Public School in H-117, Ratia Marg, Sangam Vihar, New Delhi-80. Prominent muslim poets performed & regaled the audience while promoting communal harmony among hindus-muslims-sikh & christians in the area. The program was presided by Chairman KSK Academy Sardar N.K. Chahal & Ex-MLA Vijay Jolly was specially felicitated on the occasion.
