Mumbai: DBS Bank, part of Asia’s leading financial services group, DBS Group Holdings Limited, has announced Shantanu Sengupta as the Head of Consumer Banking Group in India. Shantanu will report to Surojit Shome, CEO-India (based in Mumbai) and Pearlyn Phau, Deputy Group Head of Consumer Banking & Wealth Management (based in Singapore) of DBS Bank.
Shantanu brings with him extensive experience in Consumer, Commercial Banking and Wealth Management, having spent nearly two decades with several leading international banks like The Royal Bank of Scotland N.V. (RBS), ABN Amro Bank, Citibank and Bank of America. Prior to joining DBS, Shantanu worked as the Head of Retail Banking India for RBS, where he was responsible for spearheading the digital transformation of their Retail Bank.

Shantanu holds a Masters in Business Management from Calcutta University.
