Young Taiwanese dance on Dangal Film’s song “Dangal-Dangal”
New Delhi, 5th Sep 2018: Delhi Study Group (prominent Indian NGO) led by Ex-Delhi BJP MLA & President Vijay Jolly hosted a public reception in honor of visiting delegation of Taiwan Young Ambassadors at New Delhi. Richard Y.S. Chiu, Deputy Ambassador & Aaron C.W. Hsu- Assistant Representative of Taipei Economic & Cultural Center in India also attended.
Taiwan’s International Youth Ambassadors Exchange Program run by Ministry of Foreign Affairs is an important part of Taiwanese diplomacy to promote youth participation in international affairs. Since 2009, outstanding college students have been selected to travel to Taiwan’s diplomatic allies and friendly countries including India stated BJP leader Vijay Jolly while hosting the 30 members Taiwan young ambassadors delegation at New Delhi.
Mr. Jolly also fondly recalled his May 2016 Taipei visit to attend the Taiwan first women President Ms. Tsai Ing-Wen inauguration ceremony & his cordial meeting with her.
Led by Director Taiwan Ministry of Foreign Affairs Wang Jeffrey & Deputy Director Hong Benjamin & Secretary Chang Charles, the Taiwan ambassador delegates are young scholars, students, artists & committed to promote the theme for 2018 “Taiwan’s Youth: Citizens of the World”.
All the Taiwan young ambassadors were presented with saffron scarf’s, visiting card holders of Delhi Study Group & special momentous. The Taiwanese played classical Chinese melodies with lute & flute. They danced on filmy song “Maa Ke Pet Se Marghat Tak Hai Teri Kahani Pag-pag Pyare, Dangal -Dangal” of “Dangal” Indian Hindi Feature Film. They also presented Chinese hand writing art of calligraphy depicting Taiwan Friendship with India.
