On the occasion of celebration of ‘Day of Diplomat’, held on 10th February 2016, at the Russian Consulate of Mumbai, Dr. Amit Kamle, Director A.K.Educational Consultants (AKEC), met H.E Mr. Sergey I.Kotlyar – Consul & Counselor of Russia in Mumbai to wish and congratulate him on Diplomats Day. He was accompanied by other Russian dignitaries like Mr. Linar Latypov, Vice-Rector for International Relations, Kazan (Volga Region) Federal University, Mr. Vladimir V. Dementiev, Director, The Russian Centre for Science & Culture.
AKEC has been instrumental in enrolling students aspiring to become doctors at the Kazan Medical University in Russia, said Mr. Latypov. Students come from all over the country, namely Maharashtra, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, Delhi, Punjab, Haryana, Kolkatta, Chhatisgarh, Uttaranchal, Himachal Pradesh. They are thankful to Dr. Amit Kamle and A.K.Educational Consultants for showing them the way to pursue medical education in Russia, at affordable costs without donations or exorbitant fees Mr.Latypov added.
Dr. Amit Kamle started A.K. Educational Consultants (AKEC) in 2007. Coming from a small town, Sangli, it was a very brave decision to start such an enterprise. “I set up AKEC to help Indian students who wanted to take MBBS as their career option but could not achieve their dreams because of low score in board exams, affordability issues of the parents, failure in common entrance tests etc. The students were willing to go abroad for higher studies, but did not know how to go about it. To fulfill their aspirations, as well as to build an enterprise, AKEC came to their help”, smiles Dr. Amit Kamle. H.E Mr.Sergey Kotlyar said that,”Dr.Amit Kamle is a true friend of Russia”. In these 10 years he has helped many students to realize their dreams.
Dr. Amit at a very young age thought of providing a channel to them for quality higher education in Russia, which is also cost-effective compared to many other European countries and USA. Also the medical degrees from Russia are recognized in India. So, a student who acquires an Undergraduate degree from the Russian Governmental Medical Universities can practice in India after they pass the screening test held by the National Board of Exams on behalf of the Medical Council of India, New Delhi and start working at a higher platform.
