NEW DELHI: Dr. Vijay Jolly Indian BJP Leader addressed an Asian Political Leaders Conference on “Covid-19” organized by the International Conference of Asian Political Parties, South Korea (ICAPP) through Skype.
The conference was inaugurated by Hon. Jose de Venecia Jr., Founding Chairman ICAPP and the Ex-Speaker Republic of Philippines. The program was conducted by Ambassador Park Ro-byug, Secretary-General ICAPP from South Korea. Prominent political leaders who attended besides Dr. Jolly were from Azerbaijan, Cambodia, Indonesia, Iran, Republic of Korea, Lebanon, Malaysia, Mongolia, Nepal, Pakistan, Russia, Thailand & Turkey, etc.
BJP leader Dr. Vijay Jolly in his brief address praised Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi & BJP National President Jagat Prakash Nadda for motivating 1.3 billion Indians in the fight against corona. PM Modi’s lead to organize first SAARC video conference on 15th March 2020, followed by relief package to SAARC nations, Janata curfew on 22nd March to honor corona warriors, the total lockdown of India on 24th March and Modi’s initiative for G-20 leaders summit thru video on 26th March and fiscal package to poor & business industry were highlighted as United India’s Fight Against Corona by Dr. Jolly.
Dr. Jolly extolled Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) for its selfless social work in India during the covid-19 pandemic. 20 lakh RSS volunteers tirelessly worked at 33,000 places, organized meals to 1,92,59,179 and rations kits to 17,00,000 families consisting of 10 kg flour, 2 kg rice, 2 kg pulses, 1 kg sugar, 1-liter oil, tea leaf, spices, noodles & dried milk packets were distributed during covid-19 times in India. In Mumbai alone, RSS organized 10 community kitchens serving 1,00,000 food packets to the poor stated Dr. Jolly.
At the outset of his video address, BJP leader Dr. Jolly organized one-minute silence in memory of 3,34,621 corona victims who died in the world due to corona till 22nd May.
