New Delhi: The Minister of State for Culture (Independent Charge), Tourism (Independent Charge) and Civil Aviation, Dr. Mahesh Sharma today chaired the meeting of Hindi Advisory Committee of the Ministry of Tourism at Vigyan Bhawan in New Delhi. Speaking on the occasion, Dr Mahesh Sharma said that the Ministry of Tourism is giving importance to Hindi as much as possible and alot of official work of the Ministry is also being done in Hindi. The Minister informed that the helpline number 1363 for tourists is functioning in Hindi & English. Soon the Tourism ministry will introduce 12 more languages for the Helpline, Dr Mahesh Sharma explained. The Secretary, Shri Vinod Zutshi informed that Ministry of Tourism will also launch a magazine in Hindi with the name of “Atulya Bharat”.
The meeting attended was by Secretary of Tourism Ministry, Shri Vinod Zutshi, & Members of Parliament Shri Ram Charitra Nishad, Shri Shankar Bhai N Vegad, Shri Tariq Anwar & other distinguished members of the committee along with senior officials of the Tourism Ministry.
