Mumbai, India: Star cricketers from Mumbai Indians, finalists in the Indian Premier League (IPL), enjoy some fun time ahead of the big match, practicing ‘Gilli Danda’, a cricket-like game traditionally played in villages across India and the Sub-Continent. The Gilli Danda Challenge was taken up by the Indian all-rounder Harbhajan Singh, Indian batsman Hardik Pandya, Sri Lankan paceman Lasith Malinga and New Zealand bowler Mitchell McClenaghan. The team, which won the IPL in 2013 and 2015, aim to win their third title in Hyderabad tonight, when they face Rising Pune Supergiant in the final of the 10th edition of the IPL. The clash is billed as a ‘Maharashtra Derby’ of the state’s two biggest cities.
