QINGDAO, CHINA: Haier, the world’s leading home appliance manufacturer, has emerged as the first major appliances brand worldwide for the 12th year running, according to Euromonitor International’s 2020 Global Major Appliances Brand Rankings. The accolade follows Haier’s ongoing efforts to gain a global foothold by consolidating world-leading brands into its portfolio while accelerating its revolutionary IoT ecosystem.
12 years ago, Haier became the No.1 brand in global major household appliances sales volume for the first time, earning its spot as a global front-runner in the household appliance brands. 12 years later, Haier, on top of its 12 consecutive wins, is standing at a new starting point of scenario brands and ecosystems brands. Today Haier is once again ranked the No. 1 major appliances brand in the world by Euromonitor International, the world leader in strategy research for consumer markets. This is the 12th consecutive year that Haier topped the list in the category.
In addition to listing first for major global appliances, Haier ranked first for Refrigerators for 13 consecutive years, first in Washing Machines, Freezers, and Electric Wine Coolers in volume sales for 12 consecutive years.
Haier first became No. 1 in 2009 with the largest sales volume for the category. In 12 years, Haier has transformed itself to become an ecosystem brand, creating a new path and adding new power to Haier Smart Home – the global leader in the industry.
