Ahmedabad: Farmers of DSIR area to set out on a padyatra (footmarch) with the demand of “Correct revenue record, register our name in it”
The Secretary of Khedut Samaj-Gujarat, Shri Sagar Rabari, has issued a press statement that:
The GoG had denied permission to the farmers for their padayatra which the Hon’ble High Court of Gujarat questioned and struck down. With this major victory for democratic rights, the farmers of DSIR area will set out on the padayatra (footmarch) tomorrow Sunday, 1st November at 9 a.m. from village Sandhida. The yatra will culminate at the Ahmedabad District Collectorate on 4th November 2015.
