In it’s 2nd edition, “Film Festivals from Europe”, aims to bring participating films of renowned international film festivals from Europe to India. The participating films, in total 20 including fiction, documentary and short films featured at the Berlinale Shorts (Germany), Festival du film d’amour de mons (Belgium), Lisbon & Estoril film festival (Portugal), Festival del Film Locarno (Switzerland) and the Rome Independent Film Festival (Italy). The presence of three directors coming from Belgium, Italy and Switzerland during the screening of their films in each city is the high point of the festival.
The festival is organized by Wallonie- Bruxelles International (WBI), Embassy of the Kingdom of Belgium, Goethe-Institute Max Mueller Bhavan, The Italian Embassy Cultural Centre, Camões -The Portuguese Embassy Cultural Centre, Embassy of Switzerland in India and Pune Film Foundation in association with MIT School of Film & Television & National Film Archive of India.
