The North American Indian Parsippany Association hosted a fund raiser for Parsippany Council President Paul Carifi (Jr) at the Indian Restaurant in Parsippany. The event was Organized and hosted by Bhagwan Pingle, Srinivas Rompally. Ravinder Thota, Jay and Rajender Dichpally.
The event was also attended by several important community leaders like Bharat Rana (Assembly man), Murugan Vadivel, Prabhakar, Balaji Jilla and others. Speaking at the event Bhagwan Pingle said that Paul Carifi had always stood with the Indian Community in Parsippany and was available for help anytime. Srinivas Thota said that having Paul Carifi in the council would be a big asset for the community and he would work in lowering taxes and helping build better service for the town. Ravinder Thota urged Paul Carifi to help in making Diwali a optional holiday in the schools in Parsippany. Paul Carifi readily agreed to the suggestion and assured he will work on it. Rajendar Dichpally urged the Indian Community to rally behind Paul Carifi and help him in getting elected. Murugan Vadivel assured he will work with the Tamil Association in Parsippany in helping Paul Carifi. Paul Carifi (Jr) thanked all the people who gathered to help him in his election and assured that he will continue to be a good friend of the Indian Community in Parsippany. The event ended with sumptuous dinner sponsored by Jay.
