Pune: Gabriel Power, India has signed an Agreement with Solar Environment Great Innovation Co Ltd (SEGI) for manufacturing and sale of Floating Solar and Water Purification solutions for Indian Subcontinent, Middle East, Africa and North America. The Joint Venture will set up a manufacturing plant in India to meet the global demand. SEGI has developed a patented technology for producing hexagonal solar platform that are easy to manufacture and install. The platform can also purify the organic pollutants present in the water using microorganisms embedded in the them.
Speaking on the
occasion Dr Yang the main promoter of SEGI and the brain behind the technology,
said that he is very happy to be associated with Gabriel and look forward to contributing
to the society through his innovations. He stated that in addition to this, his
company will also bring air purification technology to solve the microdust
problem especially in major Indian cities. Dr Yang was in India as part of
Korea-India Delegation. He was invited by India Power Institute to speak on the
issue of pollution. Dr Yang is also Chairman of International Taskforce on
Mr. Thomas Mathew CEO of Gabriel group of companies
stated that this joint venture is in line with the vision of Gabriel to bring
high end patented technology to India and create value for all the
stakeholders. As per him, this tie up will be a milestone in the solar
landscape of India and worldwide. Prior to this Gabriel has tied up with
Ecotherm Austria for manufacturing and sale of highly efficient hot water solutions
and solar steam.
