Pune: Giant Starkenn bicycles organizes the Giant Starkenn XIIth MTB Nationals Chamionships 2015, aCycling Federation of India approved annual event; a 4 days long event for cycling enthusiasts.Giant Starkenn MTB National Championship will be held from the 30thof October to 2nd November, 2015.The participants will be registered in 3 levels juniors (under 18 years), senior (19 – 39 years) and masters (above 40 years) at Pune’s premium destination for adventure sports – The Oxford Golf Resort. The participants will include elite riders from various Indian state teams.
The elite Indian National racers will assemble on the 29thof October so as to get familiarized with the course. The location of the race is at Pune’s upscale Oxford Golf Resort which is built and maintained to international standards and consists of a natural 4 kms looped mountain biking track. The cyclists will cover 300 kms over the mountainous terrain during the race.
Additionally, Giant Starkenn will be offering cycling enthusiasts and amateurs a chance to race on the same track and on the same day as the National racers. This race would be to for XCMTB Glory. The winners of the races stand a chance to win prizes to amounting to over INR 2 lacs. Additionally, all participants will receive a Participation Certificate supported by the Cycling Federation of India.
