Pune: Helen O’ Grady International(HOGI) Speech and drama academy, the largest developmental drama academy of its kind in the world, staged the play “Alibaba and forty thieves” on Sunday 10th May. 30 students of HOGI presented the play after an intensive workshop of 12 days with noted theater person Mr. Sanjay Pendse. The flawless performance kept the audience on the edge of their seats from beginning to end. The play, staged by the children for the children, had not only kids but also parents clapping and cheering all through.The chief guest, Mr. Madhav Vaze, well-known theatre personality in Pune, appreciated the children by saying “Irrespective of the length of the role, each child did justice to the role”.
