San Diego: HMG Hospitality, a full -service third party hotel management company that owns and operates branded and independent hotels in US markets, has announced that it has taken over management of the Thunderbird Hotel Las Vegas.
Thunderbird Hotel is a Las Vegas institution, but not in the traditional way. There’s more to Vegas than what’s found on the Strip, and the Thunderbird is a true testament of that. Las Vegas is home to a burgeoning Arts District, filled with establishments such as the Arts Factory, antique shops and vintage-clothing stores, and the Thunderbird can be found in the middle of it all.
On the outside, the Thunderbird is outfitted with a retro style, paying homage to its quirky origins. Inside the guest rooms, though, relaxation awaits with modern furniture and all-around relaxing atmosphere. Scenic views of the strip are an added bonus, along with sunny skies and a serene poolside.
“The Thunderbird is a breathe of fresh air from the typical Vegas accommodations,” remarks Yolanda Bender, President, HMG Hospitality. “Having been meticulously renovated to continue to surprise and please guests, the hotel offers an excellent blend of vintage charm, while still offering modern comfort and amenities. Our team is excited to continue to watch and help the Thunderbird continuously evolve.”
