As you are aware, a devastating “earthquake” hit Nepal on 25th April 2015. More than 5,000 people lost their lives, thousands got displaced. The injured are still in need of medical attention and others are without shelter, living on the streets, makeshift shanties and struggling for daily sustenance.
As part of the work we have been undertaking for the last 9 years, Hope for the Children Foundation mobilised efforts and resources to assist victims from natural calamities especially during the Tsunami in Tamil Nadu, Mumbai floods and Bihar floods by providing drinking water, food, tents, blankets and other essentials.
We are happy to announce that HFCF has now partnered with MCKS Pranic Healing Nepal Trust to help them achieve their goal to provide 100 homes to the needy in the villages near Kathmandu.
To achieve this goal, 5 of Pune’s leading restaurants have consented to participate in a fund raising activity. A percentage of the revenue generated through the sales of their signature dishes will be given to the fund. 100% of the funds collected will be directly given to MCKS Nepal.
Participating restaurants include Malaka Spice, Terttulia, Euriska, Dario’s and Little Door.
A fund raising gig at Euriska on 31st July 2015 featuring Kanchan Daniels and the Beards. Part of the proceeds collected from the sale of entry tickets will go to HFCF. Do join us for an evening of great music to support us!
