Mumbai: During an interactive meeting with High Commission for the People’s Republic of Bangladesh, H.E. Mr. Syed Muazzem Ali, High Commissioner of Bangladesh, stated that the trade between India and Bangladesh today is US $ 7 billion and it can grow further in the areas of Textiles, Pharmaceuticals and Shipping Industries.
Mr. Yaduvendra Mathur, Chairman and Managing Director, Export-Import Bank of India (EXIM Bank) said that we give line of credit for upto US $ 3 billion for promoting exports between India and Bangladesh and this could be a great opportunity for trade and investment to further boom.
