(HCEIPL), a subsidiary of Hyundai Heavy Industries, Korea, today launched its Forklift business in India with its complete range of Forklifts and Warehousing equipment’s. Recently the company delivered a 5 Ton Electric Forklift to Whirlpool of India Ltd. During a key handover function organized at Whirlpool plant in Ranjangaon, the 5 Ton Electric Forklift was handed over to Mr. Reddy, Plant Head, Mr. Dhananjay Mahadik, Sr. Manager, Maintenance and Mr. Sanjay Pargaonkar, Manager EHS by Mr. J Y Kim, Managing Director, Hyundai Construction Equipment India Pvt. Ltd.M/s. Novel Lifting Engineers, Hyundai’s Material Handling Pune dealership provided the breakthrough in bagging this order from Whirlpool.
The 5 Ton Forklift supplied to Whirlpool is equipped with advanced AC Technology, Dual Drive System to enhance power output, Curve Control to reduce turning radius for smooth and precise turning operation. The Forklift also has host of features such as, Operator Presence Sensing System (OPSS), adjustable steering wheels, easy battery replacement, advanced LED monitor and Anti Roll Back system. Efficient, smooth running and powerful performance make work more productive, while ergonomically designed driver space makes operation comfortable. The components are arranged systematically to ensure easy and convenient access for maintenance.
With Hyundai forklift, Whirlpool enjoys benefits such as, less maintenance and operating cost, environment friendly – emits no smoke, less noise and sound pollution, Higher Ah (Ampere Hours) that enables increased productivity and longer working hours/recharge interval besides safe operation.
Hyundai Heavy Industries, the parent organization manufactures Forklifts and Material Handling equipment’s from 1.5 Ton to 25 Ton in Diesel, 1.6 Ton to 5 Ton in Electric and 1.5 Ton to 7 Ton in LPG besides wide range of warehousing equipment’s like Reach Truck, Order Picker, Tow Truck and Platform Truck at its Ulsan, Korea factory. Whereas, Hyundai Construction Equipment India Pvt. Ltd. the Head Office for India operations at Chakan, Pune imports Material Handling equipment’s from HHI Korea and transact them on High Sea Sales and Direct Sale basis.
