“Dreaming about a great idea won’t take the world by storm but building the idea will”
The Pune chapter of the Global Women Startup Weekend is being organized and facilitated by Trawork, making work away from work possible and The Daftar, a community driven co-working space in Baner.
Women entrepreneurs are now playing a key role in the startup ecosystem. To promote and support these women, Techstars Global Women Startup Weekend provides a platform for aspiring women entrepreneurs to network, work on a project, pitch an idea in 60 seconds and create a cross-functional team to work over the weekend in a women’s inclusive environment. It also provides the opportunity for these budding startup entrepreneurs to learn from the best local mentors and get to work with excellent resources and support. As they present their product or service, in front of the crowd and a panel of experts, on the final day, they also learn from each other’s successes and failures. The weekend culminates with a celebration of all the hard work and success in the company of the mentors, judges and other teams.
Join in the 54 hours of experiencing the highs and lows, fun and pressure that goes into building and operating a startup. Apart from meeting the experts from the industry, forming a community and the association with investors, co-founders and sponsors can facilitate the first step in establishing your dream.
When: Friday, September 27, 5 pm until Sunday, September 29, 8 pm
Where: The Daftar, Baner
