Pune: Kidzee, India’s largest network of preschool chain in Asia brought ‘Nutrition for Pre-Schoolers: Early Start to Eating Right’ Seminar to Pune on Saturday, August 1, 2015. The seminar saw active participation from parents showing great interest in learning on how they can provide right nutrition to their kids. Pune’s prominent nutritionist Komal Bansal was present at the event to share create awareness on the importance of eating right for pre-school kids.
As a part of the seminar, Kidzee organised a work shop which elaborated on the fact that 0 to 6 years is the most crucial age of development for Kids. This is the age when brain develops the most and lifelong good food habits are easy to form. Another important facet of the workshop was educating parents on Food Pyramid, eating adequate from each food group to ensure holistic growth of kids. Experts shared tip on how parents can make kids;eat healthy food by using creativity and also by making food interesting for kids by putting together foods of different colours, shapes and sizes.
