Washington: Federal Bureau of Investigation today issued ‘wanted notice’ against an Indian-origin cyber fugitive, believed to have fled the US to India.
“In 2007, Shivraj Singh Dabi fled from Sacramento County after he was found guilty of charges related to accessing the computers of his previous employer and deleting and purposely damaging the computer data on those computers, a felony,” the FBI said.
“Dabi may have fled to India,” they said.
A federal arrest warrant was issued by the United States District Court, Eastern District of California, Sacramento on July 21, 2008, after Dabi was charged with unlawful flight to avoid confinement.
Dabi has been declared an international flight risk by the FBI.
