Supporting and encouraging the diverse Indian craftsmanship being at the heart of all their initiatives, ISHANYA gears up to host Hasthakala Mela scheduled from Thursday, 14th January 2016 to Monday, 18th January 2016 in association with Development Commissioner Handicrafts.
The exhibition will provide a platform to skilled artisans, craftsmen and entrepreneurs from Maharashtra and other neighboring states to showcase their skill, different art forms and their craftsmanship who are striving to keep this alive.
The assortment of products will include exquisite hand crafted bags, shawls, dresses, carpets, embroidery, warli paintings, miniature paintings, silver jewellery and even hand crafted saris from Patiala. Moreover, the unique exhibition will act as a platform for buyers to purchase the merchandise directly from the producers. The Indian handicraft market is hugely untapped and unorganized and this exhibition will prove to be an excellent platform to give the artisans required exposure as well as bridging the existing gaps.
