Pune, Oct, 4, 2016: JW Marriott Pune brings the biggest Food festival of the year titled, ‘Culinary Collection’. Kick starting on Saturday, October 1, this festival will delight every food lover as it certainly offers something for everyone to indulge in. This 15-day long extravaganza will witness Chefs from around the world, gathered to showcase the art of culinary delight that they have perfected over years. This action packed fortnight gourmet experience is available at all the restaurants for dinner till Saturday, October 15.
Speaking about Culinary Collection, Executive Chef Mayur Tiwari said, “This is our humble attempt to showcase the culinary art that most foodies relish. We have tried to bring different unique food experiences to Pune so that our guests can indulge in a memorable food journey. The Culinary Collection will have ‘Refreshing Sri Lankan’ at Spice Kitchen, ‘Italian Awesome Twosome’ at Alto Vino, ‘Deliciously Arabian’ at Paasha, ‘Temple Temptations’ at Shakahari and ‘Chocolate on Canvas’ at Pune Baking Company. There will be something for everyone to enjoy at Culinary Collection.”
Spice Kitchen will be hosting ‘Refreshingly Sri Lankan’ themeas part of the Culinary Collection. Sri Lanka, known as the spice island is a haven of tranquil backwaters, serene beaches, exotic wildlife, lush mountains and a home to a unique and colourful cuisine. Presenting this flavoursome cuisine to foodies of the city, will be Chef Mahesh Wanniarachchi and Chef Thushara Ranathunga from Colombo.
Alto Vino will be hosting the ‘Italian Awesome Twosome’ with Chef Christian Huber’s twin, Chef Andreas Huber joining himas part of the Culinary Collection. The twins will be crafting some unique Northern Italian delicacies that will make you fall in love with Italian food even more. The menu has been designed in a way that for every course you can indulge in a speciality created by both these talented chefs.
Paasha will be hosting ‘Deliciously Arabian’ as part of the Culinary Collection. Bringing in the specialities from the Arabian land will be Chef Nicola Kadmos from JW Marriott Marquis Dubai. Savour authentic kebabs and shorbas which are infused with special condiments and adding the distinct flavour are the spices.
Shakahari will be hosting ‘Temple Temptations’as part of the Culinary Collection. The Indian cultural heritage can be best experienced over a traditional Bhog offered in temples. Chef Jai Kishen has crafted a menu which promises an eclectic, nostalgic and authentic taste of food inspired by traditional Bhog offered in various temples, a complete combination of vegetarian delicacies containing traditional sweets and scrumptious vegetarian fare.
Pune Baking Company will be hosting ‘Chocolate on Canvas’as part of the Culinary Collection. The celebrated pastry chef Vikas Bagul brings to Pune a unique and first of its kind experience, edible chocolate on a life size canvas. Inspired by the Indian architecture these canvases will be a reflection of some of the popular monuments across the country. With this, the deli will also offer a varied range of pralines and desserts for one to indulge in. Chef Bagul will also be conducting two workshops introducing guests to the art of chocolate making on October 8 and creating lip-smacking chocolate desserts on October 14.
