After a dismal start at the Box Office, Kangana Ranaut’s ‘Katti Batti’, co-starring Imran Khan, failed to pick pace on Sunday (September 20) too. The movie just managed to earn Rs 5.41 cr on day three, summing upto Rs 16.27 cr in the first weekend.
‘Katti Batti’ made Rs 5.28 on day one and it was expected that the movie would show a good improvement on the second day. However, the movie could only make Rs 5.48 crore on day two.
‘Katti Batti’ was mainly targeted at the urban audience. But seems the strategy hasn’t worked in its favour. Nikhil Advani’s other directorial ‘Hero’ starring debutants Sooraj Pancholi and Athiya Shetty performed better than this movie.
