Goa, March 17, 2019: As part of International Women’s Day Celebrations, a group of Lady Bikers from South Goa got together for a Ride. “It was amazing to meet with like-minded independent, enthusiastic, confident and dynamic women from various walks of life, riding together,” said Ayesha Barse Ansari, a hotelier by profession. The ride was led by Carolyn Rodricks and Joselyn Mascarenhas who ride frequently. We also had Dr. Prajakta Haldankar and Sweema Fernandes join in on the celebration. Sonali Mukherji a rider from Bangalore was also a part of the ride.
Majority of the bikes were Royal Enfields, KTM and Yamaha R3.
They fired up their bikes at Colva and rode to Cabo De Rama to catch a breathtaking sunset.
Carolyn and Joselyn spoke about the importance of using the appropriate gear, good quality full face helmets, boots and jackets to protect riders from injuries.
Kudos to this bunch and look forward to getting updates on more rides with them. Hats of to these Ladies!
