TO PRESENT A JOINT FASHION WEEK SCHEDULE FROM 16-21 MARCH
Making history after more than a decade-and-a-half, the event is an epitome of positivity, as it beckons an era of effective co-operation between the leaders of the industry, as FDCI, Lakmé, and RISE Worldwide bring meaningful initiatives to drive growth in the post-pandemic world
INDIA: Combining forces of the powerhouses of fashion & beauty in India -Lakmé Fashion Week (LFW) jointly organized by Lakmé & RISE Worldwide (formerly IMG Reliance); and Fashion Design Council of India (FDCI) will present a joint schedule this season at Lakmé Fashion Week. The Phygital Fashion Week will take place from 16-21 March 2021. The event will have a special “unity logo” designed to mark this occasion.
Lakmé Fashion Week in partnership with the Fashion Design Council of India (FDCI) will release the schedule shortly comprising the best of curation and designers from Delhi, Mumbai, and across India. FDCI & Lakmé Fashion Week will jointly present the Opening Show on 16th March and will culminate with the Lakmé Absolute Grand Finale on 21st March. The event will also feature the prestigious talent discovery program GenNext for designers as well as promote modeling talent through FDCI’s #GetNoticed Model Hunt besides other innovations. Both FDCI and LFW will continue their buyer programs launched last season as well.
The Fashion Design Council of India is the resilient changemaker in the fashion world with its fashion-forward initiatives, global partnerships, and rooted perspective in creating lasting opportunities for a conglomerate of its robust 400 plus designer members.
