India, 3rd April 2017: Marriott International Inc. successfully hosted the 8th edition of their annual road show The Global Sales Mission 2017 from 14th to 16th March 2017, across 3 key cities. These shows were held across Mumbai, Delhi and Bangalore. This year’s Sales Mission had representation from over 60 hotels, across cities such as Rome, Moscow, Dubai, Kuala Lumpur, Venice , United States, Europe, Bucharest & Beijing to name a few.
The Global Sales Mission is an annual meet organised by Marriott International Inc. to bring together primary contacts across all market segments with Marriott associates to update them on the company’s developments worldwide, strengthen existing relationships, educate & induct new customers into the rich loyalty programmes, discuss performance of the previous year and explore opportunities for the year ahead and beyond. It offers a great opportunity to meet industry partners and potential customers from various business sectors. Marriott has always received great support from its customers every year who look forward to this annual event.

The Global Sales Mission brings together B2B customers from all segments of the industry. This platform is also used to thank business partners in the region for their support over the past year for all 15 Marriott brands in India. It also gives us an opportunity to analyze performance in the past year and evaluate possible business prospects in the existing cities and markets as we grow and expand. The wide and exhaustive showcase of hotels at the event is aimed to bring all the best brands under one roof and make the planning process seamless and interactive for partners and potential business partners. With over 6000 properties, across 122 countries and territories globally, Marriott has the largest in house brand portfolio to offer and keeping in mind the growing and maturing Indian market, Marriott plans to open more than 84 new hotels across 33 cities within the next few years in India.
