Paves for a strong sales momentum in Q2 2021, with multiple new products lined up for India debut
Volume models of Mercedes-Benz India including the A-Class Limousine, C-Class, E-Class sedans and GLC, GLE, and GLS SUVs are having very high customer demand
- Mercedes-Benz India sold 3193 units, a growth of 34% over Q1 2020 (Jan-Mar 2020: 2386 units, including a low base for Mar-2020)
- Overwhelming market response to the newly launched A-Class Limousine | April and May deliveries for the limousine are already full
- The E-Class LWB continues to be the highest selling models in Q1 2021 followed by the C-Class
- The E-Class FL launched in mid-March has already started receiving strong customer response

PUNE: India’s largest luxury car maker Mercedes-Benz today announced that it sold 3193 new cars in the January-March 2021 period, hinting at a strong recovery ahead. The company recorded a growth of 34% over Q1 2020 buoyed by strong January and February sales which remained at pre-COVID level, and also due to the recovery in March sales, which was impacted by the pandemic last year.
