PUNE: Mind Wars, a multi-platform knowledge program promoted by Zee Entertainment Enterprises Ltd. received a gratifying response from all across the country with phenomenal participation of 7,000+ schools’ within its first year, making it one of the largest school outreach programs in the Country. Additionally, the program onboarded students from 1,700 schools during the lockdown period, riding on its digital presence on Zee5 and on social media.
Umesh Kr Bansal, Sr. Vice President, Zee Entertainment Enterprises Limited, commented, “Mind Wars as an initiative is close to our heart as it addresses the ever-growing space of digital kid’s education intriguingly. As we complete one year, we are delighted to cross a remarkable milestone and the overwhelming responses received across India.” Adding further Mr. Bansal said, “The COVID- 19 quiz is an initiative that aims to offer and uphold an optimistic frame of mind during this time while keeping them educated and informed. Our constant endeavor is to explore more ways to encourage students across the country to participate in this engaging game, and transform the way education is consumed”.
Mind Wars rolled out a slew of initiatives since the outbreak of the COVID-19 to increase alertness among its users especially children and parents. The Quiz Challenge by the platform aims to increase awareness about the Corona outbreak and benefit those who are fighting boredom in the prevailing lockdown situation and enable the students to continue with their learning. There are a series of questions designed to help students understand this pandemic and how to protect themselves and prepare for it, aptly serving the dual purpose of- stay informed and stay safe!
Mind Wars has also started a free monthly curriculum contest for the students from class 4-10 across India. The test is centered on the school curriculum for each class. A majority of institutions are shut down due to pandemic, this will also be helpful to all students who want to revise the curriculum taught so far from the comfort of home. Furthermore, the top 30 participants from each standard will be rewarded subsequently.
