According to sources, the Creative Producer, Abhijit Adhya had launched the EDGD Payback Ride Campaign as a simple gesture for a common man to pay their gratitude to their Guru. This was a simple way for anyone to acknowledge their Guru, who could be anyone from their teachers, mentors, parents or even siblings and friends for that matter. All that was required to be done was to dedicate the bike ride to his or guru on the official FB page of Ek Adbhut Dakshina Gurudakshina. This simple approach was readily accepted by the youth and to the surprise of the makers, the participation went up to 300 plus at the starting point on 12th April morning. “We were overwhelmed with the amazing response” exclaimed the debutant director, Kiran Phadnis. “In fact we have received phone calls from across the nation and they were happy to join in during the same time from various parts of the country especially Delhi, Lucknow and Kolkata” added Abhijit.
